Adil Aouchiche, born on the 15th of July 2002 and currently 23 years of age, is a French international footballer who is skilfully adept at the central attacking midfield position. Standing at 5ft 11in (1.81m) tall and weighing in at 11st 4lb (72kg), he currently wears the number 7 jersey for his club, Aberdeen.

Aouchiche's career began in 2014 as a trainee at Paris Saint-Germain in the Ligue 1 in France. His debut season in the 2019–2020 period saw him grace the field only once with a first team appearance. In July 2020, he was transferred from Paris Saint-Germain to Saint-Etienne in the Ligue 2 and his journey saw a remarkable increase in his participation. As part of the Saint-Etienne team, Aouchiche played in 34, 35 and 2 first team league matches in the 2020 - 2021, 2021 - 2022 and 2022 - 2023 season respectively, even managing to find the back of the net twice in the first season.
In September 2022, he found himself at Lorient in the Ligue 1, with 11 first team appearances in league matches during the 2022-2023 season. Aouchiche's ability didn't stay unnoticed for long as Sunderland in the Premier League found in him a promising talent and secured a transfer in September 2023, with the youngster making 28 first team appearances with 2 goals and 8 appearances subsequently in the next season.
However, an internal loan move to Portsmouth in the Championship occurred in January 2025 with Aouchiche enjoying 12 first team appearances and managing to score a goal before returning back to Sunderland on completion of his loan in June 2025 where he took part in additional first team matches in the following seasons.
Come July of the same year, Aouchiche found himself under the Scottish skies, having transferred from Sunderland in the Premier League to Aberdeen in Scotland for a loan move. In his current season of 2025-2026 at Aberdeen, the midfielder has made 16 first team appearances alongside scoring 3 goals in league matches.
His time in Aberdeen has also been marked by participation in competitions such as the League Cup 2025 - 2026, where he earned two starts, the Europa League Qualifiers 2025 - 2026, where he also earned two starts and the Conference League 2025 - 2026, where he marked five starts.
