Alex Lowry, born on 23 June 2003 (age 23), is a Scottish attacking midfielder with Motherwell, where he wears the number 11 shirt. His senior league record first drew attention at Rangers in 2021-22, when he scored once in four appearances – a modest return, but still his most productive league season to date.
Lowry is now part of the Motherwell squad, used across domestic and European qualifying football in 2026-27. He has made two league appearances and two more in Conference League qualifying, giving him four appearances for the club across all competitions.
His career so far has been that of a developing Scottish midfielder moving from Rangers into regular squad involvement at Motherwell, with his next task plainly enough: turning appearances into a more settled role.
