Amar Ahmed Fatah, a Swedish-born footballer, was born on 19th February 2004, currently 22 years of age. Fatah is primarily a forward, playing finest as a left winger for Dundee United. His dimensions, which are of significant relevance in the brutal game of football, stand at 6 feet (1.83 metres) for height and tip the scales at 11st 6lb (73 kilograms). On the pitch, he adorns the number 17 jersey.
The modern game of football is driven by wealth, and the players are no exception. The financial worth of Fatah, according to Transfermarkt, is sat around half a million Euros, which for those of us in Great Britain equates to approximately Β£435,000. Football, like any business, has its market, and that is Amar Ahmed Fatah's current place within it.
When one thinks of Fatah's journey in the beautiful game, it's somewhat peripatetic. In January 2021, he started his professional football sojourn in the Allsvenskan with AIK in Sweden. In his debut season, he had a fleeting taste of top-flight football with merely one appearance. He added nine more appearances and a goal to his debut season in the following year.
As 2022 rolled around, Fatah made a continental leap from AIK to Troyes in France, a step that reportedly set Troyes back in the region of Β£4.2 million. His stint in France began tepidly, with a meagre single appearance in his maiden season.
Then came the loans, a seemingly endless circle of homes for a young player finding his boots. First, it was to Lommel in Belgium's Challenger Pro League in January 2023, before returning to Troyes in July 2024. His time in France once again underwhelmed, reflecting the same single match appearance.
In the 2024-2025 season, Fatah was lent yet again to Willem II in the Netherlands' Eerste Divisie. Here, he finally found his rhythm, making 22 league appearances and striking the back of the net once.
By mid-2025, Fatah was back to Troyes in France, albeit briefly, for he was soon on the move again, this time all the way to the Scottish Premiership with Dundee United. In his first season in Scotland, he seems to be thriving with 28 appearances and seven league goals to his name. He has actively participated in the League Cup and Scottish Cup for Dundee United and even made a guest appearance in the Conference League Qualifiers.
