Born on the 10th of March, 2002, Andrew Winter is a homegrown Scottish talent. The 23-year-old is a forward, more commonly seen prowling the pitch as a striker. Currently applying his craft for Livingston, Winter stands at a solid 5ft 10in (1.78m) and weighs in at around 11st 6lb (73kg). On match days, he can be identified wearing his customary number 16 jersey.
Winter began his professional football journey at Hamilton Academical. He joined the League One Scottish club as a trainee in July 2017. After two years in the youth setup, Winter made his inaugural first-team appearance during the 2019-2020 season, getting a feel for the pitch in three league matches. The following season, he was handed more responsibility with 22 league appearances. By the 2022-2023 season, Winter had found his footing, making 34 first team appearances and netting four times for Hamilton Academical.
July 2024 marked an important milestone in Winter's career. After a fruitful period at Hamilton Academical, the striker transferred to Livingston, in the Scottish Premiership. As part of Livingston's outfit in the 2024-2025 season, Winter garnered 16 first team league appearances and found the back of the net once. In the current 2025-2026 season, Winter has made ten first-team appearances.
In a brief intersession, Winter was loaned out to Arbroath, a Championship side, in January 2025. Returning to Livingston in June of the same year, he resumed his stint in the Scottish Premiership. In the current 2025-2026 season at Livingston, Winter has made ten first team appearances in league matches.
In addition to his league contributions, Winter also had a bite at the League Cup 2025-2026, representing Livingston. The young striker managed to score a goal across three starts, coupled with two appearances as a substitute.
