Auston Trusty, an American footballer born on 12th August 1998, is a central defender known for his adept performance in Celtic. Trusty was signed by the Blades for a hefty £5m in August 2023. Trusty's run at Sheffield United was short but impactful, with 33 appearances in the league.
In August 2024, a lucrative £6m deal saw Trusty joining the ranks of Celtic in the Scottish Premiership, a move that has proven beneficial for both the player and the club. In his debut season with Celtic, Trusty fared well, making 22 first-team appearances and netting a goal. In the current 2025-2026 season at Celtic, Trusty has already made a significant contribution with 16 appearances.
