Upon the arrival of July 2020, Parkinson made the move Newcastle United. Here, he found himself training in the fast-paced grounds of the English Premier League. Fast forward to January 2026, and Parkinson found himself packing his bags once more. This time, he took the jump from Newcastle to Falkirk on an undisclosed fee. At present, in the ongoing 2025-2026 season for Falkirk, Parkinson has twice graced the grass for league matches.
In addition, while playing for the Scottish side, Parkinson managed to participate in the Scottish Cup 2025-2026. Here, he managed to find the back of the net once, despite only making a single appearance as a substitute.
