Bruce Anderson was born in Scotland on 23 September 1998 and is currently a 26-year-old striker for Kilmarnock. Standing 5ft 10in tall (or 1.78m for our metric-minded friends), and tipping the scales at 12st 1lb (that's 77kg), Anderson sports the number 19 jersey.
He launched his professional career back in July 2015 when he joined Aberdeen as a trainee. After several seasons with the club, his record stood at 14 first team appearances and two goals in the 2018-2019 season, 11 appearances and a single goal in 2019-2020, and six appearances in the 2020-2021 season.
In a bid to broaden his experience, Anderson was loaned to Elgin City in League Two in August 2017. During his inaugural season, he clocked up 14 appearances and six goals before returning to Aberdeen prematurely in January 2018.
Just one year later, in January 2019, Anderson shipped out once again on loan. This time, he landed at Dunfermline Athletic, only to return to his home team at Aberdeen in June of the same year.
However, the 2020-2021 season saw Anderson on the move again. Initially loaned to Ayr United in October 2020, he returned to Aberdeen three months later in January 2021. However, his stay was short-lived, and later the same month, he was loaned out to Hamilton Academical where he scored two goals across 13 appearances.
In July 2021, Anderson parted ways with Aberdeen and transferred to Livingston. He made a significant impact over his three seasons at the club with scores of 11, six, and seven goals in respective seasons.
For the current 2024-2025 season, Anderson now takes to the field for Kilmarnock. So far, he's chalked up 25 appearances and an impressive nine goals. His participation extends to the League Cup with one start, Scottish Cup with a single appearance as a sub, Europa League Qualifiers with two sub appearances, and Conference League Qualifiers with one start.
With a career marked by a steady upward trajectory, Bruce Anderson continues to be a formidable presence in Scottish football.
