Cammy MacPherson, born on 29 December 1998 (age 27), is a Scottish central midfielder now with Livingston, where he wears squad number 15.
He came through at St Mirren, with his early loan spell at Stranraer giving him the sort of senior minutes young midfielders tend to need before anyone gets too excited about them. That period helped move him from academy promise into the more practical business of first-team football.
MacPherson later moved on to St Johnstone, initially on loan, before that spell became a permanent part of his career. He then had a useful 2025-26 league season at Greenock Morton, scoring three goals in 21 appearances – his most productive league campaign so far.
Livingston is his current stop. In 2026-27, he has made four appearances across the Championship and League Cup. His market value is around £340,000, according to Transfermarkt.
MacPherson’s career has been built through loans, steady moves and regular spells in Scottish football. He remains an established professional midfielder rather than a headline act, which is no bad thing in itself.
