Clark Robertson was born in Scotland on 5th September 1993, and to this day his journey in the beautiful game of football continues. Now aged 32, the 6ft 2in (1.88m) defender currently stands guard for Dundee FC, serving primarily as a central defender and donning the number 3 jersey. Robertson, who has a weight to match his stature at 12st 1lb (77kg), has pulled on shirts for several clubs over the course of his career, though his current market value is estimated to be around £85,000, according to Transfermarkt.
Robertson's journey started in July 2009 at Aberdeen FC where he made his debut in the 2009-2010 season, appearing in three first-team league matches. His first-team league appearances numbered 13 the following season (2010-2011), then nine in the subsequent season (2011-2012), and he had his busiest season in 2012-2013 when he made 23 appearances for the Dons. After Aberdeen, in July 2015 he moved south to England's Blackpool FC, where he played for three seasons.
Following his time at Blackpool, Robertson transferred to Rotherham United, also in the English League One, in July 2018. He would remain there until July 2021 after which he joined Portsmouth in the Championship. His stay there was brief. He moved to FC Ashdod in July 2023.
His stay in Israel with FC Ashdod was brief with him joining his current club, Dundee FC, in July 2024. He made 21 first-team league appearances in the 2024-2025 season with Dundee and so far in the 2025-2026 season, he has taken the field 14 times and scored twice. He has also featured in the League Cup 2025-2026 for Dundee, scoring two goals in two starts, and made a substitute appearance in the Scottish Cup 2025-2026.
While never having had the privilege of donning the green and white hoops of Celtic, Clark Robertson continues to contribute to Scottish football, demonstrating that the love for the game runs deep in this corner of the world.
