Connor Barron, born on 29 August 2002 (age 23), is a Scottish central midfielder with Rangers. His senior career first took proper shape at Aberdeen, where the 2022–23 league season remains his most productive to date, with one goal in 17 appearances.
He later moved to Rangers, where he has stayed involved rather than drifting to the edge of the squad. In 2025–26, he has made 25 league appearances without scoring, along with two League Cup outings, two in Champions League qualifying and six in the Europa League. Across all competitions for Rangers this season, he has made 35 appearances and scored no goals.
His form has been solid enough, though he has been out of the matchday squad in recent weeks. His last appearance came in Rangers’ 6-3 win over Falkirk on 12 April 2026, which leaves his current place in the side worth watching rather than overstating.
Barron remains a regular first-team presence at Rangers in 2025–26, after establishing himself at Aberdeen and moving on to a bigger, less forgiving environment. He is still developing, but he is no longer just a prospect.
