Rooted from the land of Kilts and Haggis, Craig Hepburn, born on the 20th of November 2004, is a fiercely talented goalkeeper currently keeping shop for St Johnstone. Donned in the proud number 31 jersey, Hepburn, at the age of only 20, has truly made his mark in the realm of football, more specifically the Scottish Premiership.
His journey at St Johnstone, anticipatedly full of promise and potential, dates back to July 2019, when he joined the club as a trainee. Hepburn's contract with St Johnstone, which runs until the 31st of May 2027, still has around two years to spare, with the lad standing at the inception of a fruitful career.
Hepburn's trajectory was not a linear one, as he found himself transferred on loan from St Johnstone to Cowdenbeath, a club nestled within the Lowland League in Scotland. The dimmed lights and subdued cheer didn't discourage Hepburn from giving his all during his tenure, which initiated in July 2023.
Upon the completion of his loan, Hepburn found himself back in the familiar embrace of St Johnstone, standing tall under the Premiership skies once more in June 2024. However, the shifting tides of football had Hepburn on the move again by December 2024, this time to Bonnyrigg Rose, a club deeply ingrained in the League Two division of Scotland.
His stint at Bonnyrigg Rose was short-lived, as by January 2025, Hepburn was seen donning the St Johnstone jersey once more, back in the Premiership. Like a boomerang tossed into the winds of uncertainty, Hepburn always seems to find his way back to where he feels most at home - St Johnstone.
