Daniel Bragança, born on 27 May 1999 (age 27), is a Portuguese central midfielder whose career has been shaped overwhelmingly at Sporting CP. A compact player at 5ft 7in (1.69m), he came through the Sporting system before early loan spells gave him the senior football needed to move beyond promise.
He has since become a familiar figure in Sporting’s midfield, making 107 league appearances and scoring 14 league goals across six seasons. His most productive league campaign came in 2025-26, when he scored six times in 14 appearances – useful output from a player more naturally associated with control and continuity than headline-grabbing numbers.
His market value is around £10m, according to Transfermarkt. Bragança’s career, to this point, is a straightforward Sporting story: developed there, tested briefly elsewhere, and then established back in Lisbon.
