Deniss Meļņiks, born on 7 September 2002 (age 23), is a Latvian central defender with Falkirk. A commanding 6ft 3in (1.90m), he wears squad number 21 and has built the bulk of his senior career in Latvia.
His time at Auda is the clear centre of the story. Across four seasons he made 91 league appearances and scored nine league goals, a substantial spell rather than a passing stop. His most productive campaign came in 2024, when he scored five times in 27 league matches.
