Drey Wright, born on the 30th April 1994 and hailing from England, rides the front lines primarily functioning as a right winger for Dundee. Standing at a sturdy 5ft 9in (1.77m) tall and weighing in at a lean 10st 12lb (69kg), he proudly dons the number 7 jersey on the field.

Wright's journey into professional football began back in July 2012 when he joined Colchester United in the English League Two. Wright's career however took a wee turn in July 2020 when he transferred to Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership. Over the subsequent two seasons, he achieved a steady performance, making 20 appearances and scoring one goal within the first season, and lowering the tally slightly in the second season with 17 appearances and one goal.
Wright, feeling a pull towards familiarity, transferred back to St. Johnstone in July 2022 where he mirrored his previous performance with the Saints from the 2018-2025 seasons.
Currently plying his trade for Dundee in the Scottish Premiership starting from July 2025, Wright has chalked up 30 first team appearances and scored one league goal in the current 2025-2026 season. In addition to his league performance, Wright has put forward commendable performances in the League Cup 2025-2026 with three starts and one substitute appearance, as well as in the Scottish Cup 2025-2026 where he scored one goal over two starts.
