Eduardo Quaresma, born on 2 March 2002 (age 24), is a Portuguese central defender whose senior career has been shaped mainly at Sporting CP. His market value is around £15.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
Sporting is where the bulk of the work has been done. Across six league seasons with the Lisbon club, he has made 68 league appearances and scored four league goals. That is the spine of his career so far, rather than a passing stop on the way somewhere else.
The loan spell at Tondela in 2021-22 mattered in his development. He played 25 league matches and scored twice, his most productive league season to date, and it gave him the sort of regular senior football that young centre-backs usually need more than polite praise from a distance.
Back at Sporting, Quaresma has remained part of the first-team picture. At the start of 2026-27, he has made one Liga Portugal appearance. His career, at this stage, is a Sporting-centred one with a useful formative spell at Tondela behind it.
