Elie Youan, born in France on 7 April 1999 (age 27), is a left winger whose senior career has come to be shaped chiefly by Hibernian. His development included early loan football, giving him the sort of first-team grounding young forwards tend to need before anyone starts pretending the finished article has arrived.
At Hibs, Youan has become a regular attacking presence rather than a passing visitor. Across five seasons he has made 97 league appearances and scored 20 league goals, with his most productive campaign coming in 2022-23, when he scored nine times in 36 league games. That season remains the clearest marker of what he can offer when his pace and directness carry proper end product.
In 2025-26, he has made 17 league appearances and scored four goals. His career is still a developing one, but its main shape is plain enough: a French wide player whose longest and most meaningful spell has been at Hibernian.
