Ethan Hamilton, a Scottish lad born on the 18th day of October in the year of 1998 (making him 27 years of age), plys his professional football trade as a tenacious midfielder, commonly found marshalling the centre of the pitch for Dundee FC. Standing at 6ft 1in (1.87m) with a weight of 12st 1lb (77kg), he brings a particular physical presence to his number 48 jersey.
As of now, according to the good folk at Transfermarkt, Hamilton's market value is estimated to be in the region of £342k.
Our man Ethan started his path to professional football as a trainee at the renowned football academy of Manchester United in July 2014. He would circulate through a number of English clubs on loan, extending his football education at Rochdale, Southend United and Bolton Wanderers between January 2019 and January 2020.
Hamilton then made the complete move from Manchester United to Peterborough United in August 2020. Though his time at Peterborough United during the 2021-2022 campaign was hardly glittering, he only chalked up two first-team appearances in the league.
In August 2021, Hamilton uprooted himself once more, moving to Accrington Stanley in England's League Two, again for an undisclosed fee. His time at Stanley was a bit more substantial, culminating in 25 first-team appearances and a pair of goals during the 2022-2023 season.
His journeyman career took him next to Lincoln City in August 2023, with no disclosed transfer fee. But it seems our lad Ethan had his heart set on a return to his homeland's pitches and in August 2025, he made the move to Dundee in the Scottish Premiership.
At Dundee, during the current 2025-2026 season, he's proven himself a valuable asset with 20 first team appearances in league matches. Moreover, his contributions haven't been limited to the league; Hamilton has made his mark on the Scottish Cup, scoring a goal from two starts.
