Ethan Ross, a homegrown Scottish talent, took his first steps on the football pitch on 15 August 2001, and now at 24 years of age he has etched himself a moderately successful career, mainly in the familiar terrains of Scotland. Born and raised in his native land, Ross currently finds his football home at Falkirk, where he dons the number 23 jersey, making a name for himself as a forward who skilfully operates on the left wing.
This Scotsman stands 5ft 8in (around 1.73m) tall and clocks in at a healthy 11 stone (roughly 70kg). He's quite the performer on the field, commanding a current market value of around £212k, according to information available on Transfermarkt.
Ross embarked on his professional journey in July 2017, commencing his football training and craft under Aberdeen's guidance in the Scottish Premiership. The debut season of 2018 - 2019 saw Ross make four initial appearances on the front lines for Aberdeen. Despite limited participation in the 2019 - 2020 and 2020 - 2021 seasons, with him making only two appearances each, Ross continued his steady progression.
The stint at Aberdeen was punctuated by a swift loan transfer to Dunfermline Athletic in Scotland's Championship, taking effect in January 2020. The spell ended in June of the same year when he returned to his parent club Aberdeen.
Another loan awaited Ethan Ross in October 2020, this time with Raith Rovers, another club in the Championship. His stint at Raith was promising, contributing one goal in his 20 appearances in the 2022 - 2023 season. However, his latter three appearances in the 2023 - 2024 season did not add much to his tally.
Upon completion of his loan in February 2021, Ross returned to Aberdeen, but by October, he had transferred officially to Raith Rovers. Again, his performances were consistent, although the goal count was not impressive.
Ross found himself on the move once again in September 2023, loaned out to Falkirk in the Premiership. The 2024 - 2025 season witnessed Ross start to realise his potential, as he made 36 appearances and netted an impressive eight goals. The current season of 2025 - 2026 still sees Ross running on Falkirk's green, having already made 17 appearances and scored once for them. Falkirk recognised the value he brought to their team, and in July 2024, they welcomed Ross into the fold permanently.
Ross has not only contributed to league performances but also made his mark in the Cup fixtures. During the League Cup 2025 - 2026, he scored two goals from two starts and two substitute appearances, and in the Scottish Cup that same season, he made an impact from the substitute bench on one occasion.
