Greg Taylor, hailing from Scotland and born on the 5th of November 1997, currently aged 28, carries out his footballing duties as a defender, usually occupying the position of left back for PAOK. He stands at 5ft 8in (1.73m) in height and weighs in at a respectable 9st 12lb (63kg). The number 32 jersey is his apparel of choice when stepping onto the pitch. In addition to his club commitments, Taylor has also had the honour of wearing the national badge, representing Scotland on a senior level.
His footballing authority on the field gives him a current market value in the region of £4m (Transfermarkt).
Having kick-started his footballing journey in July 2015 with Kilmarnock, Taylor remained consistent throughout his tenure with them. Across four fruitful seasons, he made an impressive 111 appearances in Premiership league games, even managing to net himself a goal in the process during the 2018-2019 season.
His performances evidently didn't go unnoticed, leading to a transfer to the esteemed Celtic FC at an undisclosed fee in September 2019. At Celtic, his footprint in the game grew further. Over the span of 6 seasons, from 2019 to 2025, Taylor made a total of 156 first team league appearances, adding a sparse, yet treasured, six goals to his name.
Come July 2025, Taylor bid farewell to Celtic and forged a new path with PAOK, a Greek Super League team. In the ongoing 2025-2026 season at PAOK, he has already added eight first team league appearances to his portfolio.
On the international stage, he represented Scotland in Euro Qualifiers during 2022-2024, making two starts. And in the world of club football, he appeared in Europa League Qualifiers 2025-2026 for PAOK as a substitute.
Having had a substantial service for Celtic and a respectful career to date, Taylor's presence in the footballing landscape cannot be overlooked.
