Born on 25 January 1998 (a 27 year old by today's reckoning), Gue-sung Cho hails from the Republic of Korea. Standing at 6ft 2in (1.88m in the less insular parts of our world) and a trim 11st (or 70kg for the metrically inclined), he is a forward by trade and a striker by choice for FC Midtjylland. The number 10 jersey is his chosen armour on the field. Apart from serving his club with distinction, Cho has also made his mark on the international field, representing his homeland, Korea Republic.
The lad even has some financial fame to his name. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value sits at a handsome £3m.
His footballing career promises much, as it already boasts considerable achievement. The following season was spent at Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, another Korean outfit, where he scored four goals in 23 appearances.
In 2021, Cho moved to Gimcheon Sangmu, bringing along his trademark vigour and scoring prowess. He made 25 appearances and netted eight goals that season, and followed it up with an impressive display in 2022: 13 goals from 23 appearances. That same year, he made a return to Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, putting on the number 10 jersey again and scoring four goals in eight appearances.
The 2023 - 2024 season found Cho in Denmark, sporting the colours of FC Midtjylland. He made this new territory his own, making 30 first team appearances and scoring 12 goals. As of the current season of 2025 - 2026, Cho has managed eight first team outings and three goals for FC Midtjylland.

He also played in the Europa League of 2025 - 2026 for FC Midtjylland, making three starts.
