Henry Cartwright, birthed on the frosty day of 11th December, 2004, hails from our southern neighbour, England. Now at the ripe age of 20, we find him laced up and ready in the midfield for Falkirk, the fine Scottish side. He steps on to the pitch typically in the role of a central midfielder, his skills and awareness of the game more than making up for his height of a modest 5ft 8in (1.75m). Weighing in at 10st 7lb (67kg), which reads like a welterweight boxer's stats more than a footballer's, he wears the number 17 jersey, a number often associated with creative midfielders.
The gents over at Transfermarkt place his current market value in the region of £40k. While by today's inflated standards this may seem a modest sum, I contend that the value of a player can't be measured in mere currency, but by the impact they have on the pitch.
Cartwright added his name to the roster at Leicester City, back in the English Championship, as a keen trainee in July of 2020, eager to make his mark on the beautiful game. As the wheel of time turned, July of 2025 saw him journey north to the Scottish Premiership, joining Falkirk on loan from Leicester City. A venture into a different league, perhaps, to broaden his horizons and test his mettle.
In the 2025 - 2026 season, he graced the League Cup for Falkirk. With two starts and three appearances off the bench, it seems he's started to make his presence felt. Onwards and upwards, Mr.Cartwright.
