Isak Hien is a Swedish central defender, born on 13 January 1999 (age 27), now with Atalanta. A commanding 6ft 3in (1.91m) presence, he plays primarily at centre-back and wears the No 4 shirt.
His development was helped by early senior football rather than a smooth academy-to-first-team glide. Loan spells, including time back at Vasalunds IF after joining Djurgårdens IF, gave him the minutes and rough edges needed before he settled properly at a higher level.
