Issa Doumbia, born on 16 October 2003 (age 22), is an Italian central midfielder with Venezia. His current market value is around £7m, according to Transfermarkt.
His career has been shaped above all by AlbinoLeffe, where he made 78 league appearances and scored four goals across three seasons. That was the spell that gave him his senior base and the regular football young midfielders do not always get, however often they are discussed as prospects.
At Venezia, Doumbia has carried that experience into a more productive role. In 2025–26 he has been a regular first-team presence, making 37 Serie B appearances and scoring eight league goals. Across all competitions for Venezia, he has made 39 appearances and scored 10 goals, including two in the Coppa Italia.
He was linked with a move to Celtic in May 2026 while at Venezia. For now, his career is still centred on Italy: a long AlbinoLeffe grounding, followed by a more visible and productive season with Venezia.
