Born on 24th of April, 2000, the Croatian forward Ivan Dolček is best known for his agile dynamism on the left wing for Dundee United. Standing at 5ft 10in (1.8m) tall, and tipping the scales at 11st 6lb (73kg), he wears the number 19 jersey with distinction.
Currently, according to Transfermarkt, this promising young player is valued at around a neat sum of £760k.
His football journey kicked off in earnest in July 2017, when Dolček joined Slaven Belupo, playing in the HNL in Croatia. During the 2024 - 2025 season at Slaven Belupo, he made 31 first team appearances, finding the back of the net three times.
In July 2019, he moved from Slaven Belupo to Hajduk Split, another Croatian HNL team, for a transfer fee of around £450k. His time at Hajduk Split was punctuated by a spell abroad on loan to Famalicao in Liga Portugal. Dolček made his debut for the Portuguese team in the 2021 - 2022 season, making nine first team appearances and scoring a sole goal.
June 2022 saw him returning to Hajduk Split after his loan at Famalicao ended, only to be loaned out again, this time to Sibenik in the Druga HNL in Croatia. At Sibenik, in 2022 - 2023 season, he made 29 first appearances and scored five goals. Upon completion of his loan, he returned back to Hajduk Split.
In January 2024, Dolček transferred to DAC Dunajská Streda of the Slovakian First Football League for a small fee of around £280k, where his career took an interesting detour. In August 2024, he was back in Croatia, this time loaned out to his former club, Slaven Belupo. He spent the 2024 - 2025 season there making 31 first team appearances and scoring three more goals. In June 2025, he returned to DAC Dunajská Streda, his parent club at that time.
However, his time in Slovakia was short-lived since July 2025 saw him being shipped off on loan to Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership. The 2025 - 2026 season, the current one at time of writing, has seen Dolček make 16 first team appearances for Dundee United, and already he has scored five goals.
His contributions have not been limited to the league alone, as he was also part of Dundee United's League Cup squad, making one start, and he has featured in the Conference League Qualifiers with three starts and one appearance as a substitute.
