Ivan Dolček, a Croatian-born forward, recently celebrated his 25th birthday on the 24th of April. Standing at 5ft 10in (1.8m) and weighing 11st 6lb (73kg), Dolček sports the number 19 jersey for the Scottish Premiership side, Dundee United. His primary position on the field is as a left winger. He began his professional journey in July 2017 with Slaven Belupo in the HNL in Croatia. During the 2024 - 2025 season with said team, he featured in 31 first team games and managed to score three times for the side. His performance drew the attention of Hajduk Split from the same league, prompting a transfer in July 2019 for a fee close to £450k. Unfortunately, his time at Hajduk Split was marked by fewer appearances, with only ten shown in the 2023 - 2024 season.
Dolček's next move was a loan to Famalicao in the Liga Portugal in January 2022. His debut season saw him appear in nine league matches and contributing with a single goal. However, by June 2022, he returned to his parent club, Hajduk Split, only to be loaned out again to Sibenik in the Druga HNL in July. This stint proved fruitful as Dolček played in 29 matches, scoring five goals.
After a brief return to Hajduk Split in June 2023, Dolček was sold to DAC Dunajská Streda in the Slovakian First Football League in January 2024 for a sum of around £280k. The next chapter in Dolček's career started in July 2025 when he was loaned from DAC Dunajská Streda to Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership. In the current season (2025 - 2026), the Croat has hit the ground running with seven appearances and five goals in league matches. Furthermore, his contributions extend beyond the league, participating in both the League Cup 2025 - 2026 for Dundee United (with one start) and the Conference League Qualifiers for the same year, making three starts and a substitute appearance.
