Jamie McCart is a Scottish centre-half, born on 20 June 1997 (age 29), now with Hearts. He came through at Celtic as a trainee, but his senior career was always going to be made elsewhere. In July 2018 he left Celtic for Inverness Caledonian Thistle, a sensible enough staging post for a defender needing regular football rather than a place on the periphery.
Inverness gave him the platform to move on, and his career later took in Rotherham United and Hearts, but St Johnstone is the spell that gives the record its shape.
