Jeremy Bokila, born on 14 November 1988 in DR Congo (Zaire), is a robust forward who primarily lends his football prowess to Livingston, where he plays as a dynamic striker. Boasting an impressive stature of 6ft 1in (1.87m) and solid weight of 12st 3lb (78kg), he is a force to be reckoned with on the pitch. Bokila's professional career started off at AGOVV Apeldoorn in Netherlands in July 2007, there he displayed consistent performance and scored a grand total of 31 league goals over three seasons. Bokila then transferred to Zulte Waregem in Belgium's Pro League in June 2010, where in one season he managed to score two goals in 20 appearances.
In one season at Sparta Rotterdam in Netherlands, during a loan spell from Zulte Waregem, Bokila found the back of the net 14 times in 28 league matches. After a year-long loan at Petrolul Ploieşti in Romania, he made a permanent move to Akhmat Grozny in Russia's top-flight Premier League, for a fee roundabout £1.3m in August 2013. During his tenure that spanned two seasons, Bokila made 36 appearances and scored four goals.
After a two-year stint in Russia, Bokila transferred to Guangzhou City in China in July 2015 for a similar fee, while managing four goals in 13 league appearances for that season. Following loan spells at Eskişehirspor, Turkey, and Al-Kharaitiyat, Qatar, Bokila finally settled at Akhisar Belediyespor in Turkey. Across four seasons, he scored a total of eight goals in 40 appearances.
In the subsequent years, Bokila made several transfers. He went on loan to CFR Cluj in Romania, returned back to Akhisar Belediyespor, transferred to Hatayspor, moved to Ankara Keçiörengücü, then to Thes Sport in Belgium, followed by Oakland Roots in USA, before landing at Willem II in Netherlands in July 2022. During his stint at Willem II over three seasons, he scored 22 goals in 95 appearances.
His latest transfer saw him move to Livingston in Scotland's Premiership in July 2025. Till now, in the current season, he has made a significant impact with four goals in ten first team appearances. Added to his impressive league play, he also participated in the League Cup 2025 - 2026 for Livingston with one appearance as a substitute.
