Born on 15 May 1999, the Brazilian forward Júnior Brumado primarily plies his trade as a striker for FC Midtjylland. Brumado embarked on his professional football journey with Bahia in Brazil's Série A in January 2017. During his maiden season at Bahia, he managed to secure a spot in the starting eleven in three league matches. In January 2019, Brumado made a significant leap in his career, transferring from Bahia to FC Midtjylland in Denmark’s Superliga for a fee of around £2m. His first season with FC Midtjylland saw him making 17 appearances in league matches. In September 2023, Brumado was loaned out again, this time to Hansa Rostock in Germany's 3. Liga. Here, he made a significant impact, making 23 first team appearances and scoring four goals. Upon the conclusion of his loan at Hansa Rostock, he once again returned to FC Midtjylland.
However, Brumado's journey was not yet over. In July 2024, he was loaned to Coritiba in Brazil's Série B. Finally, after the conclusion of his loan spell, he returned to FC Midtjylland in July 2025 and continued to don the FC Midtjylland uniform in the ensuing seasons.
Brumado also made his mark on the European stage, participating in the Europa League Qualifiers for the 2025-2026 season with FC Midtjylland and scoring four goals in four matches. Furthermore, he also had two starting appearances in Europa League 2025 - 2026 for FC Midtjylland, proving himself to be a versatile and valuable player.
