Juan Miranda, born on 19 January 2000 (age 26), is a Spanish left-back with Bologna. His early senior education came through loans from Barcelona, with spells at Schalke and Real Betis giving him proper first-team exposure rather than the usual polite academy promise.
The Betis move proved the more important one. He became a regular part of their squad and had his most productive league season in 2022-23, scoring three goals in 21 appearances. For a full-back, that was a useful attacking contribution without needing dressed up as something grander.
Miranda has since moved on to Bologna, where he remains primarily a left-back. In 2026-27, he has made four Serie A appearances. His current market value is around £13m, according to Transfermarkt.
