Kai Fotheringham, born on 18 April 2003 (age 23), is a compact 5ft 7in (1.69m) Scottish right winger now with St Johnstone, where he wears squad number 18. His current market value is around £298,000, according to Transfermarkt.
His career has been shaped above all by Dundee United. Early loan football gave him the usual rough edges of senior minutes away from the main stage, but United provided the substance: 65 league appearances across five seasons, with 12 league goals. His most productive spell came in 2023-24, when he scored 12 times in 35 league games.
Fotheringham has since moved into the St Johnstone side. In 2026-27 he has one league appearance and one league goal, along with four League Cup appearances and one goal, giving him five appearances and two goals in all competitions for the club.
