Landon Emenalo, born on 18 January 2008 (age 18), is an English left-back who joined Celtic from Chelsea in September 2026. He had been linked with a move to Celtic the previous month, before the deal was completed.
His move from Chelsea gave Celtic another young option on the left side of defence, with Emenalo taking squad number 12. His form this season has been strong and consistent, which is about as much as can reasonably be asked of a teenager settling into senior football.
Emenalo’s career is still at an early stage: Chelsea development background, a Celtic move in 2026, and the first steps of a senior profile now being built in Glasgow.
