Lazar Samardzic, born 24 February 2002 (age 24), is a Serbian attacking midfielder now with Atalanta. His current market value is around £17m, according to Transfermarkt.
His career has been shaped most clearly at Udinese. Across three seasons there, he made 93 league appearances and scored 13 league goals, giving him the regular senior football that matters more than the usual early-career noise. His best return came in 2023-24, when he scored six times in 34 league matches.
At Atalanta in 2026-27, Samardzic has made seven appearances in all competitions, scoring once. That includes five Serie A outings, with one goal, and two appearances in Conference League qualifying. He has also been involved for Serbia in World Cup qualifying, making seven appearances.
Samardzic is still a developing player, but his profile is already clear enough: a Serbia international attacking midfielder whose main body of work remains his Udinese spell, with Atalanta now the next stage of his career.
