Scotland-born Liam Henderson, who turned 29 on 23 August, is a central defensive midfielder serving Glasgow's Falkirk F.C. Standing at 6ft 3in (1.91m) and with a weight of 12st 1lb (77kg), he notably dons the number 5 jersey for his team. As of the most recent data, he carries a market value of roughly €100k, which equates to around £85k, as per Transfermarkt.
While he currently serves Falkirk, not unsurprisingly, Henderson has had multiple transfer experiences throughout his career. In July 2015, Henderson went on loan to League One's Stenhousemuir from Hearts, where his eleven appearances yielded a solitary goal.
An upward bound Henderson found himself in Falkirk by July 2016, having transferred from Hearts. It was in Falkirk that he found consistent form, banking 22 appearances and netting twice in the 2022-2023 season. He continued this upward trajectory in the following seasons, with six goals from 35 games in the 2024-2025 season and another one goal in the ongoing 2025-2026 season.
Earlier stages of his career saw Henderson serve on loan in the Lowland League for Cowdenbeath in 2017, where 17 matches on the pitch served in testament to his capabilities. November witnessed Henderson transition on loan to League Two side Edinburgh City. His time there resulted in seven first team appearances.
The rolling dervish of Henderson's career continued in January 2018, as he found himself transferring to the League Two side, Edinburgh City, from Falkirk. Edinburgh City, however, was nothing new to him, having made seven appearances for them previously.
His farthest stint came later that year with a transfer from Edinburgh City to Australian-situated Stirling Lions. While the details remain undisclosed, Henderson returned from the National Premier Leagues to return once again to Edinburgh City in August 2018.
As seasons rolled, Henderson found himself in different pastures. From Edinburgh City, he passed to Arbroath in Scotland's Championship in July 2021. His Arbroath tenure albeit brief, was followed by a rewarding return to Falkirk in July 2022, where he still serves, displaying a stalwart tenure of performance.
As competitions go, Henderson had his share of Cup involvements, with five starts in the League Cup 2025-2026 for Falkirk and a start in the Scottish Cup 2024-2025 for the same team.
