Mads Bech Sørensen, a Danish-born footballer who primarily plies his trade as a centre half, was born on the 7th of January, 1999. Currently with FC Midtjylland, the 26-year-old stands at approximately 6ft 3in in height (1.93m) and tips the scales at around 13st 9lb (87kg). He is most commonly seen donning the number 22 jersey. Sørensen began his professional journey in July 2011, joining 1. division Danish side AC Horsens as a trainee. Over the course of the 2016 - 2017 and 2017 - 2018 seasons, he made six first team appearances, contributing one goal to the squad's total tally.
In July 2017, he crossed borders to the English Premier League's Brentford for an undisclosed fee. Sørensen had a fluctuating stint with Brentford, accumulating a total of 56 first team appearances and bagging two goals from the 2018 to 2023. His time with Brentford was broken up by several loan transfers, one of which sent him to AFC Wimbledon in League One in England in January 2020. He returned to his parent club in June 2020.
A subsequent loan move took him France's Ligue 1, playing for Nice from September 2022 to January 2023 before making his way back to Brentford. Further movement was seen when he was loaned out to FC Groningen in the Eredivisie in the Netherlands in January 2023 where he made eleven first team appearances.
Finally, he transferred from Brentford to FC Midtjylland in the Danish Superliga in September 2023, the move being undisclosed. Since joining FC Midtjylland, he has made 68 first-team appearances and netted six goals, as of the current 2025 - 2026 season.
