Marko Lazetić, born on 22 January 2004 in Serbia, is an adequately skilled 22-year-old forward who primarily plays as a striker for Aberdeen. He stands at 6ft 3in (1.92m) tall and weighs in at a solid 12st 8lb (80kg). He sports the number 27 jersey at Aberdeen. His current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is around £681,000.
In July 2018, Lazetić made his start in professional football by joining Red Star in the SuperLiga in Serbia. However, it was not until the 2020 - 2021 season that he made his first appearance for the first team in league matches. During the 2021 - 2022 season, he made 14 appearances for the first team and landed his first league goal.
In February 2021, Lazetić was loaned to Graficar in the First League in Serbia. During that season, he played 14 league matches with Graficar and managed to score four goals.
In July 2021, Lazetić returned to Red Star from his loan at Graficar. His time back at Red Star saw similar performance to his previous season, with 14 appearances and one goal.
In a somewhat astral transfer, Lazetić made a move from Red Star to AC Milan in the Serie A in Italy in January 2022, with a fee of around £3.6m. His stint at Milan was, frankly, unfruitful, making just one appearance in the 2022 - 2023 season.
After a period of reluctance, AC Milan loaned Lazetić to SCR Altach in the Bundesliga in Austria in February 2023. He made ten appearances in league matches in Austria before returning to AC Milan at the end of his loan in June 2023.
Another loan followed shortly in August 2023, this time Lazetić found himself joining Fortuna Sittard in the Eredivisie in the Netherlands. He played in eight league matches before his loan ended in June 2024 and he returned to AC Milan.
Nearly a month later, in July 2024, Lazetić was loaned out once more, this time to TSC in the SuperLiga in Serbia. This tenure led to more on-field action, with Lazetić making 32 league match appearances and scoring two goals during the 2024 - 2025 season.
Eventually, Lazetić made a permanent move to Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership in August 2025, for an undisclosed fee. So far in the current, 2025 - 2026, season he's notched up 14 appearances and four goals. He has also seen play in the League Cup with one substitute appearance and has represented Aberdeen in the Conference League with four starts and two additional appearances as a substitute.
