Ah, Mikey Moore. Born on that fateful summer's day of 11 August 2007 to a blissfully English upbringing, this young whippersnapper is currently trying his luck as a forward for Rangers, donning the rather distinctive number 47 jersey. At just 18 years of age, standing proud at 5ft 10in (1.8m) and weighing in at around 11st 11lbs (75kg), it's clear the lad isn't afraid of cultivating mass. He relishes his role on the pitch as a left winger, causing havoc amidst defenders with his nimble footwork.
Apparently, he's worth something too. Around £13.5m, if the digital wizards over at Transfermarkt are to be believed. I'm not here to argue about the obscene numbers kicking around modern football, I'll just leave it at that.
The wee man has had quite the journey, starting with a move to glittering Tottenham Hotspur in July 2022. After frolicking with the Hotspur boys for a while, mainly making up the numbers with two then ten appearances in respective seasons, he decided the lush green pastures of Scotland were calling. Thus, in August 2025, he sauntered north and joined Rangers, presumably thinking it was a quiet, country club.
In his maiden season, he's been rather active, scampering onto the pitch for 20 appearances and netting 4 league goals (which, on reflection, isn't a bad wee haul). Seems the lad can't get enough of football, partaking in every cup in sight, including the domestic League Cup (3 total appearances) and Scottish Cup (a sole substitute appearance). And just for good measure, he's even bothered with the Champions League qualifiers (1 substitute appearance) and Europa League (7 total appearances). All of these antics on loan from Hotspur, you've got to admire the lad's spirit.
Don’t be mistaken though, he’s no Celtic. Our club scouts might have been snoozing when Mikey was up for grabs. Can’t say I lose sleep over it.
