Born on the 1st of December 1993 in France, Mohamad Sylla currently earns his living playing centre-defensive midfield for Scottish Premiership team, Livingston. The midfielder, noted for his sturdy build and defensive prowess, stands at 6ft 2in (1.89m) tall and weighs around 12st 10lb (81kg). His shirt, bedecked with the number 24, has manifested onto the backs of Livingston fans across Scotland.

His journey in club football commenced in July 2013, when he made his mark at Entente SSG, sinking roots in the France Lower Divisions. After several seasons, he felt the English chill beckon as he transferred to Oldham Athletic in England's League Two in January 2019 for an undisclosed fee.
The seemingly nomadic player continued to heed football's call, making yet another move in July 2020, this time back to his homeland of France, to join Laval in Ligue 2. However, England was not yet finished with the globetrotting Sylla; in October 2021, Aldershot Town of the National League welcomed him into their fold.
Ever on the move, in August 2022, Sylla found a new home in Hartlepool United, also a National League English club. He showcased his skills prominently in the debut season of 2022–2023, making 28 appearances for Hartlepool United and finding the net once.
Scotland, however, was to be his destiny. In August 2023, Sylla crossed borders yet again, leaving England to find a new home in Dundee, Scotland. Over the next two seasons, he made 57 appearances for Dundee in the Premiership.
Finally, in July 2025, he made his way to his current club, Livingston. Sylla has, to the present day, made 15 first team appearances for the club in the current season, and the Livingston goals tally has been enriched by one thanks to his efforts. He represented Livingston in the League Cup 2025-2026, starting in four matches with a single appearance as a substitute further bolstering his contributions.
