Nicky Cadden, born on 19 September 1996 (age 29), is a Scottish left-back with Hibernian, where he wears the number 19 shirt. His most productive league season came with Livingston in 2016–17, when he scored six goals in 34 appearances, a decent return for a player operating from the left side rather than as a forward.
At Hibs, Cadden remains a regular part of the first-team picture in 2025–26. He has made 23 league appearances without scoring, along with two in the League Cup, one in the Scottish Cup, one in Europa League qualifying and three in Conference League qualifying. Across all competitions for Hibernian this season, that leaves him on 30 appearances and no goals.
His form has been solid and consistent rather than showy, which is often no bad thing for a full-back. Cadden’s career has taken him from a productive spell at Livingston to a steady role at Hibernian, where he continues to hold his place in the side.
