Owen Wijndal, born on 28 November 1999 (age 26), is a Dutch left-back with Ajax. His current market value is around £3m, according to Transfermarkt.
His early senior grounding came with Jong AZ, where the 2017-2018 league season remains his most productive in front of goal: two goals in 16 appearances. That was the development stage rather than the headline act, but it gave him regular football and a clearer route into the senior game.
At Ajax, Wijndal remains part of the first-team picture in 2025-2026. He has made 28 appearances in all competitions, scoring twice, with 19 of those coming in the Eredivisie. He has also featured six times in the Champions League, which is not a bad way of confirming you are still in use.
Wijndal’s career has been built on steady left-back work in the Netherlands, from Jong AZ’s development level to a continuing role at Ajax. He is an established first-team player rather than a prospect being discussed in theory.
