Quinten Timber, born on 17 June 2001 (age 24), is a Netherlands midfielder now with Marseille. Primarily used as a central defensive midfielder, he has become a regular first-team presence rather than a squad ornament, wearing number 27 and carrying a current market value of around £25.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
His most productive league season came at Feyenoord in 2023–24, when he scored seven goals in 31 appearances. That return gave a useful edge to a player whose game is otherwise built around midfield work rather than headline numbers.
In 2025–26, Timber made 17 league appearances and scored two goals for Feyenoord before adding 15 league appearances for Marseille. He has also stayed involved with the Netherlands, making one World Cup appearance and three European World Cup qualifying appearances this season, scoring once.
Timber’s career is still being shaped, but the outline is clear enough: established at Feyenoord, now in Marseille’s first-team picture, and still close enough to the Dutch national side to matter.
