Robbie Deas is a worthy Scottish footballer who was born on the 27th of February, 2000, making him a 25-year-old seasoned player as of our current year. Deas positions himself on the field predominantly as a central defender for Kilmarnock. The lad stands tall at 6 ft 2 inches, or 1.88 metres for those who find comfort in the metric system, while tipping the scales at 12 stone 1 pound, or 77 kg if you will.
Clothed in the distinguished number 6 jersey, Deas' football journey has seen him call quite a few clubs home. In August 2018, he was sent from the Scottish Premiership's Celtic club for a loan to Cowdenbeath in the Lowland League, as per the Scottish football tradition of player development.
Celtic, which was his home for at least two seasons, then rerouted him in August 2019 on another loan to Alloa Athletic in the Scottish League One. Come August 2020, Celtic decided to fully transfer Deas to Inverness CT, also in the Scottish League One. During his debut season of 2022-2023 with Inverness, Deas saw the field in 22 league matches, managing to contribute one goal as well.
By July 2023, Deas found himself being transferred from Inverness CT to his current club, Kilmarnock, in the Scottish Premiership. His efforts didn't wane with the move, as his first season 2023-2024 with Kilmarnock saw him making 30 league appearances and scoring a goal. In the ongoing season of 2024-2025, he has already made 28 appearances in league matches.
Deas' presence was equally felt in various cup participations. He made one start in the 2024-2025 League Cup representing Kilmarnock, mirrored by another start in the Scottish Cup during the same year. In the European context, Deas graced the field with two starts in the 2024-2025 Europa League Qualifiers and also made two appearances from the bench in the Conference League Qualifiers. These varied experiences only prove Deas to be a robust and versatile defender in the Scottish football realm.
