Rory Feely, born on 3 January 1997 (age 29), is an Irish central defender with Cork City. At 6ft 3in (1.91m), he brings an imposing frame to the back line, which is useful enough in a league where subtlety is not always the first item on the menu.
His most productive league season came with Bohemian FC in 2022, when he scored two goals in 27 appearances. That is not a striker’s return, plainly, but for a centre-half it points to a player capable of contributing at the other end without pretending that is his main work.
Feely is now at Cork City, with his market value listed at around £85,000 by Transfermarkt. His career has been that of an established League of Ireland defender: tall, experienced, and useful, without needing to be dressed up as anything more dramatic.
