Introducing Ross Graham - the Scot who celebrates his birthday every 20th of February and at the tender age of 24 has somehow managed to stumble his way through the Scottish game as mostly a central defender. Born in Scotland, he currently ties his laces for Dundee United, occupying the coveted number 6 jersey. One can't help but look up to him - as he stands at around 6ft 4in (1.94m) tall and equally as hard to ignore at a hearty 12st 12lb (82kg).
Graham's current market value, according to those astute observers at Transfermarkt, hovers around an amusingly underwhelming half a million euros, or £450k for those of us who prefer a proper currency.
Graham first pulled on the tangerine-coloured threads of Dundee United back in July 2017 as a fresh-faced trainee. By the time the 2021-2022 season rolled around, he had mustered up the strength to don the first team shirt for 15 appearances, even managing to find the back of the net on a couple of occasions. Whether this trend continued varies from season to season, but he more often than not graced the squad for at least 15 matches per term, with his goal scoring exploits peaking in the 2024-2025 season with a whopping four goals.
But it's not always been plain sailing or Dundee United's cosy Tannadice Park for our dear Graham. He first ventured forth on loan in January 2020 to Elgin City in Scotland's League Two. The six-month jaunt seemed to do him good, and he bounced back to Dundee that June, ready for another bash at success. In October of the same year, he was packed off for another loan stint, this time with League One side Cove Rangers. He saw out the season there, only to repeat this Highlands to Dundee yoyo trick again in the 2021 season.
His visits to Dunfermline Athletic in the Championship, while noteworthy for his loan spell's step up in class, followed an eerily similar timeline from July 2021 to January 2022.
Despite his travels across much of Scottish football, one of his only notable tournament participation was in the Scottish Cup 2025 - 2026 for Dundee United, where he managed one lonely start. A stellar career it might not be, but it's never dull following the exploits of one Ross Graham.
