Ross MacIver was born on 28 February 1998 in Scotland and, at the age of 27, currently plays as a forward for Falkirk. He stands 6ft tall (1.84m) and weighs 11st 11lb (75kg). As a key player, he proudly wears the number 9 jersey. His football skills are not to be trifled with, and Transfermarkt estimates his current market value is around £170k.
MacIver's journey through football clubs has been quite eventful. In July 2017, he moved from his comfort zone to play for Ross County in the Scottish Championship, and six months later in January 2018, he was on loan to Forfar Athletic in League Two. He returned to Ross County in June 2018 at the end of his loan period. His problem-solving skills were again needed in February 2019 when he went on loan to Elgin City, also in League Two.
In August 2019, Motherwell snatched him away from Ross County. During the 2019/2020 season, he made seven first-team appearances and even netted a goal. Throughout the following season, he only managed to make one appearance. Notably, his journey took him to Greenock Morton in the Scottish Championship on a loan which started in September 2020 and ended in January 2021.
Despite returning to Motherwell, MacIver was shortly loaned to Partick Thistle in the Championship in March 2021. When the loan ended, he eventually transferred from Motherwell to Partick Thistle in July 2021. But it seems this bloke just can't avoid a good loan opportunity. In February 2022, he was enjoying his football at Alloa Athletic in League One, again on loan. This season with Alloa Athletic was quite productive, as he made 28 first team appearances and scored five goals.
By July 2022, the loan period was over, and MacIver joined Alloa Athletic on a full transfer. His performance seemed consistent as the season ended with him making 28 appearances and adding five more goals to his tally. Finally, in July 2023, he transferred from Alloa Athletic to Falkirk in the Premiership, where he currently plays.
In the 2024/2025 season, he made 20 first team appearances and scored three goals. This season, 2025/2026, has seen him make ten appearances and score three goals. Recently, he also participated in the League Cup for Falkirk, scoring one goal in two starts, and three appearances as a substitute.
