Ryan Naderi, born on 10 July 2003 (age 22), is a German striker whose career so far has been shaped far more by Hansa Rostock than by anything that has followed. An imposing 6ft 4in (1.94m) centre-forward, he made 42 league appearances for Hansa across two seasons and scored 13 league goals.
His best league return came in 2025–26, when he scored eight times in 18 appearances for Hansa Rostock. That spell remains the clearest part of his profile: regular football, a decent scoring rate, and enough substance to put his current market value at around £4m, according to Transfermarkt.
Naderi is now with Rangers, wearing squad number 20. In 2025–26 he has made nine league appearances and scored once, while adding two goals in two Scottish Cup games. Across all competitions for Rangers, that leaves him on 11 appearances and three goals. His form has been solid enough, though he has been out of the matchday squad recently after last featuring against Dundee United on 4 April 2026.
At this stage, Naderi’s career is still relatively early, but its shape is plain: Hansa Rostock gave him his main body of senior football, while Rangers have so far had a narrower look at him.
