Uche Ikpeazu, born on 28 February 1995 in England, is a 30-year-old striker whose primary position is up front for St Johnstone. He stands tall at 6ft 3in (1.91m), tipping the scales at 13st 12lb (88kg) and he wears the number 9 jersey. His present market valuation is stated to be around €200k, which roughly translates to nearly £170k according to Transfermarkt. His contract with St Johnstone has another one year and two months left, and is due to expire on 31 May 2026.
Tracing the trajectory of his career, Ikpeazu joined Watford in England's Championship in July 2013. From Watford, he was loaned out multiple times, playing with Doncaster Rovers, Crewe Alexandra and Port Vale in England. He made a total of 37 and 21 first team appearances respectively during two stints with both Crewe and Vale respectively, with his goal tally hitting an aggregate of 12 between the two clubs.
Ikpeazu ultimately left Watford in August 2016 to join Cambridge United, where he hit the back of the net 15 times in 55 appearances spanning two seasons. His next move brought him north of the border to Hearts in Scotland's Premiership in July 2018, making 40 appearances and netting 5 goals in his tenure.
Off switches continued despite his solid performances, and after a stint at Wycombe Wanderers where he scored 6 in 31, he was sold to Middlesbrough for a fee of around £1m. His time with Middlesbrough saw a loan spell at Cardiff City, before returning back to Middlesbrough to finish the 2021-2022 season. His next move was an adventurous turn, as he transferred from Middlesbrough to Konyaspor in Turkey's Süper Lig.
His journey continued as he was transferred once again, this time to Port Vale, where he previously played in the 2015-2016 season. However, his journey in England was not quite finished yet, as he transferred to St Johnstone in Scotland's Premiership in July 2024. At this point in the 2024 - 2025 season, Ikpeazu unfortunately has not made any first team appearances for St Johnstone.
