Denmark-born football defender Viktor Bak Jensen, born on 3 October 2003, currently plies his trade for FC Midtjylland, primarily playing as a left back. Standing at 1.77m (5ft 9in) tall and weighing 68kg (10st 9lb), Bak Jensen is a strong presence on the field, adding balance to the Midtjylland squad. Now aged 22, the young Dane wears the number 55 jersey and has been representing the Denmark U21 national team.
Bak Jensen joined FC Midtjylland as a trainee back in July 2019 and has been climbing the ranks since. He made his debut in the Danish Superliga during the 2021 - 2022 season, appearing once in the first team. In the subsequent 2022 - 2023 season, Bak Jensen further established his place in the team, with 11 appearances. He followed this up with 10 first team appearances in the 2023 - 2024 season.
In August 2022, Bak Jensen was loaned out to Hobro IK in the 1. Division before returning to FC Midtjylland in January 2023. Once back, he played his part in the 2023 - 2024 season, making ten appearances on the squad.
An essential learning experience for Bak Jensen was a loan to Mafra in Portugal's Segunda Divisão in August 2023, returning in January 2024. Upon his return, he seemed to bring a refined skill set, including ten more appearances during the 2023 - 2024 season.
By the time of the 2024 - 2025 season, Bak Jensen had matured as a player, earning himself 21 first team appearances and netting a goal. His performances caught the eyes of many in the football world. His growth continued into the current 2025 - 2026 season, with the Dane making a notable 12 first team appearances at FC Midtjylland.
Bak Jensen has not only been turning heads domestically but on the international stage as well. He represented Denmark in the UEFA U21 Qualifiers 2025, with two starts and one appearance as a substitute. In addition, he was involved in the Europa League Qualifiers 2025 - 2026 for FC Midtjylland with one start and two appearances as a substitute, followed by further two starts in the Europa League 2025 - 2026.
