Born on the 9th of January 2005, Zach Mitchell is an English footballer who is currently on loan at St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership. Now in his early twenties, he primarily commands the central defense and wears the number 5 jersey. Physically imposing, he stands at 6 feet tall (1.85m) and weighs around 12st 12lb (82kg).
According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at around €200k, which is roughly £170k. By the end of May 2025, his contract with St Johnstone will expire. That leaves him with only two months remaining on his current deal, as of now.
Mitchell's footballing journey began in earnest in July 2022 when he signed for League One side, Charlton Athletic. His debut season, however, only saw him make a solitary first-team appearance in the league. By September 2023, Mitchell had found himself on loan at League Two side, Colchester United.
Completing his loan spell, he returned to Charlton Athletic in June 2024 but his fortunes didn't significantly improve. He repeated his debut season's record by making just one first-team appearance in the league.
Undeterred by the lack of playing time, Mitchell embarked on another loan journey, this time venturing north to Scotland. In February 2025, he signed for St Johnstone, a move that has, so far, proved fruitful. Since his arrival, he has made eight first team appearances in the Premiership.
