Jeyland Mitchell, born 29 September 2004 (age 21), is a Costa Rica central defender now with Strasbourg. Transfermarkt puts his current market value at around £1.5m.
His career to this point is shaped mainly by Sturm Graz. Across two seasons there, Mitchell made 21 league appearances and scored once, with his most productive league campaign coming in 2025–26, when he played 19 times and got his goal.
In 2026–27, he made two league appearances for Sturm Graz before adding four more with Strasbourg. He has also been involved with Costa Rica, making three World Cup qualifying appearances in North and Central America, scoring once, and three more at the Gold Cup.
